CV Desaever Gunther
Engineer Gunther Desaever, born on the 28th of December 1972 in Ostend, earned his title of Civil Engineer at the University of Gent in 1994.
From 1994 to 1996 he did a post universal degree in Heritage of Monuments at the “Henry Van de Velde” institute of Antwerp. It was there that he discovered his passion for restoration of historical buildings and monuments.
From 1996 to 2001, before he arrived in Italy, he was employed as:
Assistant project manager for the contractor Strukton where he was co-responsible for the restoration and renovation of 49 houses in the “klein Begijnhof O.L.V. Ter Hoyen” at Gent
Project manager for the contractor Group Monument where he was responsible for several projects of restoration and construction of new buildings
In 2001 he followed a specialisation in restoration of monuments at the University of Florence
Since March 2001 he’s employed as civil engineer near the office SERTEC sas, a studio for engineers, architects who are specialised in the restoration and structural renovation of historical buildings.
